Basic, not too technical lexicon that's keyed to Strong's numbers
I'm a pastor with a long history with Logos, and my church has asked me to teach a 6-week course on bible study. I'd like to set the participants up with the FaithLife Bible study app, but I want them to have access to a somewhat non-technical lexicon, and to be able to search on Strong's numbers. All of my dictionaries and lexicons are much too technical. So I'm wondering what they would need to download to have in-line Strong's numbers in their favourite translation, and a simple lexicon that's linked to Strong's, and that gives comprehensive but readable Greek word meanings (we're focusing on the New Testament). But this illustrates ... which translation did you want (with inline Strongs), and did you want the Strongs lexicon ordered by english, or Strongs number? Logos has both.

Many of my translations (ESV, NRSV, NASB, KJV, NKJV, NLT) have in-line Strong's numbers, in my Logos 7 setup, but I don't remember how I got that functionality. I want the group to be able to search on Strong's numbers or English keywords, basically so they can simulate an English concordance, or an Englishman's Greek concordance. I'm looking for just a couple of downloads, rather than a whole study set. It would be too overwhelming and expensive for them to buy a bundle or a whole Logos package.

You likely bought a bronze or up, a Connect subscription, or a feature package at some point. The problem is the price-point for Strongs inline. The interlinears typically start pretty high. Stand-alone w/Strongs are cheaper (ergo which translation). Then add a cheap Strongs lexicon (ergo, how sorted).
That AMG above did it all for $79. I loved it (I also have the $25k Logos too).

I go back even further, over 20 years. My package was called "Original Languages" back in 1997 or 1998. I think I must have picked up the interlinears somewhere along the line more recently

If I am not wrong, any translation with a Reverse Interlinear should be capable of searching by Strong's number. Since Faithlife owns it, I believe this translation is available in many of the collections It may even be available in the free set of resources when one creates a Faithlife account and downloads FSB.

Yes, but... The RI does not come with the bible. It is a separate acquisition.

The Lexham English Bible is free, but I couldn't find one with an Interlinear.

https://www.logos.com/product/693/a-dictionary-of-biblical-languages-w-semantic-domains-greek also costs $30, and gives access to Strong's numbers in the absence of Enhanced Strong's Lexicon. It is a straightforward Greek lexicon.
You should ring Faithlife Customer Service, as they could better assist you in this matter.
Print Concordances for English keywords were usually for the KJV, but also available for other translations. In Logos, just use Search to find any word in any translation!

In doing a bit more mousing around on the Logos website I came to the same conclusion as Dan, the Mounce's Concise Dictionary is probably the best choice, along with a reverse interlinear; the ESV is a reasonable price. Buying individual resources is pricey, but I'm having difficulty finding the specific resources that are included in the Basic package. I can only find a package comparison, and it takes ages to scroll through the thousands of resources

Can't find one with that exact title. Did you mean Mounce's Complete Dictionary? Because I have that lexicon, and it is not keyed to Strong's numbers i.e. you can't open the lexicon from an Interlinear with Strong's numbers. When the product description says "Employs Strong’s numbering system", it only provides Strong's numbers as references.

I suppose as long as you can search on the Strong's numbers, that's better than nothing. I like the fact that it's not so technical that it becomes unreadable, like a lot of other lexicons. Some of the more advanced ones would certainly discourage participants who have no knowledge of Greek. I'd suggest Vine's to them, but it's a bit out of date

OK, so I downloaded Mounce, and prioritized it at the top of my list of dictionaries. As you said, it's not keyed to Strong's. However, when I right click an English word in the text of my ESV reverse interlinear, I can choose the manuscript form of the word, and then Mounce shows up without the use of Strong's numbers. However, I can also search in Mounce on Strong's numbers. Thanks for all your help, guys.
