Is it possible to limit a search to the same sentence or thought unit

I am sure this is impossible, but I thought I would ask just in case:

Is it possible to limit a search to the same sentence or thought unit?

Given the search:

(<person Jesus> BEFORE 5 WORDS @V???????) BEFORE 3 WORDS you

Produces:

2 Thessalonians 3:3(NKJV)  But the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you ....

But is also produces a result that is NOT in the same sentence or thought unit.

1 Corinthians 1:13(NKJV)  13 Is Christ divided? Was Paul crucified for you? ...

Is there any way to limit results to the same sentence?   (Subject/Verb/Object)

I am not sure I understand your question, and what you are trying to achieve.

If you are running this search

    (<person Jesus> BEFORE 5 WORDS @V???????) BEFORE 3 WORDS you

You can limit it to whatever verse range you want to limit it to. For example, instead of searching All Passages, you could limit the search to 1 Thessalonians, or some other range.

My question would be why you would limit a search like that to such a narrow range? What would be the value of that search?

What you are defining here is a clause not a sentence; if it were possible, it would be as defined by the underlying original language, not the English.  See Help >> Searching >> Clause Search for the elements that you can search for within the limitation of a clause.
