How can I highlight text on different screens

When I try to highlight on my Kindle Fire everything works fine unless the passage I want to highlight is divided between screens. When that happens I have to minimize my text size to I can see the entire passage to highlight then adjust the text size back. Is there a way to highlight a passage on 2 screens without having to take this many steps?

On iOS, there is the ”two finger drag” which allows you to move the text in paged view. Alternatively you could switch to scrolling view and then no text would be on “the next page.” [;)]

I can't seem to get highlights to display at all. I s we left the text, select highlight, then the highlight I want, done, and nothing is displayed against the text.

Hi JT. You’ve just made an old man really happy. I was having the problem of trying to highlight a passage which straddled pages on my iPad. I had no idea the two-finger scroll worked whilst in page mode.

Unfortunately I have nothing but problems trying to highlight in scrolling mode.
