Clutter From Highlights

Opinion please.

Is it good practice when populating a notebook with content to keep "highlight" notes in the general list rather than in the notebook?

I am finding that my notebook is getting cluttered with notes that are just highlights. For example, when I anchor 2 Pet 1:1 and Titus 2:13 in my Jesus Deity notebook both full verses are highlighted. I also have partial text highlights with icons" linking "God and Savior Jesus Christ" for quick visual reference when reading the bible text.

The two partial highlight notes are redundant clutter, as the verses are covered in an overarching note about the deity of Jesus. I thought it might be better for the highlight notes to be in the general note area to keep search clutter down to a minimum inside my notebook?

What do you guys think?

It makes sense to me to not put highlights in a notebook unless it is for a particular purpose (like sharing or some kind of custom collection). For the most part I have highlights in no notebook.
