I was informed by the Logos application that support for Logos 7 was ending soon so I upgraded to Logos 8. It may just be me but it looks bad and the whiteness is overbearing. Is there a way to change background and forground colors in Logos?
Welcome to the forums.
Currently there is no way for you to adjust these settings in Logos
James, under Tools>Program Settings scroll down to Accessibility. There you'll find a limited number of options for changing the background colors of the resource panels. There is no way to change the foreground (text) colors, but you can change the fonts used and you have a little control over line spacing. Look under the Text Display section of Program Settings.
You're kidding. The cornecopia of background greys in L4-7 are gone? (Not to mention the riot of Libby colors).
EDIT: Just saw Mark's reassurance.
Thanks for the help but it does not work well with all panels.
Text size? Change that in the Panel Menu (far right icon).
Some find Program Scaling at 90% helps, but set Content Scaling to 110% (in Program Settings).
The shading is a part of the resource, and the "bookmarks" in the scroll bar can be removed in Program Settings (2x "Show" settings for "Bookmarks").
Correct. It only affects resources. What you want is the option to change the colors or shading of the entire program. I wouldn't think providing that option would be too hard for Faithlife to accomplish, but they do have a lot already planned, so it seems unlikely to happen soon unless its already on the list.
Just upgraded from Logos 8.11 in Win 7-32 to 8.13 in Win 10-64. Resource background colour "Paper" which used to be a pale brown now shows as PINK! Something wrong with Win 10, Logos, my PC or my eyes?
Welcome Andrew
It is indeed pink.
Please re-post in a new thread with its title preceded by BUG:
Serious?? El-Seven's jealous (ignoring just how much work paper/papyri goes, to appear old). Libby's laughing.
Thanks Dave, I have opened a BUG thread
