Offline Frustration..

Logos 6/7 no internet, worked basically offlne without a connection

8.4, what happened to work offline?

with no intenet, no access here for help, took me 20 mins to remember ctrl+launch to access the app in safe mode to access the work ofline button, but if we are offline why not add work offline option here (on normal launch) where it would have been most helpful..

Had you previously Signed-in to Logos 8 (with Internet)? I had no trouble starting Logos normally without an internet connection?

I have noticed this problem as well several times since L8 has come out. I would go to a church, start up logos, and find myself offline and unable to even log in. I solved the problem when it happens by using my phone as a hotspot. But I cannot always do that in areas where I go. I see now that someone else has noticed the problem. It does not happen often, but it has happened a handful of times to me since L8 came out.

Is it possible you had a connection, but no Internet? If you manually disable internet connection, what happens?

Some logs may be necessary.

unknown, next time it happens will get logs, but you'd think that no ping to server would bring up work offline option
