One issue with the Timeline is that it is very cluttered. Maybe there is a way to filter out events, but I'm not aware of it.
Ultimately though I would like to be able to create my own timeline. Say, for example, of the history of philosophy.
There are a number of way to change the appearance and content of the timeline, beside the word filter
Play with those various menu's and don't afraid to try different combinations.
