L8.5: PERFORMANCE: Slow dropdown response time while updating library catalog
I am getting tired of how long it takes to see the dropdown when I type in the name of a resource I want to open. My Logos is updating the library catalogue quite often, since I buy new resources almost every day, sometimes multiple times a day. So this is a nearly constant state of upheaval. I can't get any work done.
If I type a Bible abbreviation in the Go bar while Logos is updating the library catalog, it takes nearly 2 minutes for the dropdown to appear so I can hit Enter to open the first item on the list. I would want to be able to type, e.g., NRSV, and hit Enter immediately, and wouldn't mind waiting a minute for it to actually open the Bible (although 10 seconds or so would be preferable). But not to even be able to type ahead the Enter is terrible responsiveness from the application.
