I'm a pastor in a small church, just trying to continue to improve myself and my messages.  I liked using the previous exegetical guide, in the word by word area, when I could see all the words broken down at a glance without having to click on each one individually in order to be able to see them.

At the risk of sounding as old as I am, I liked the way it was before.

In the word by word there's a settings on the right side at the top. Pull it down and click on the all checkbox

    Welcome to the forums.

You can have the exegetical guide behave as you describe.

    Run a guide

Click Settings in the Word by word section

Select all parts of speech, or certain parts of speech, or none at all.

I prefer none at all to reduce the clutter when I expand that section

Could you specify what changed that you don't like? To me it sounds like there's nothing that can't be done as before (there are changes, but those have to do with "Saved Guides").

Fred's screenshot is exactly what I referred to in my post. I think it might have gotten turned off with the 8.5 update because I noticed it too. Maybe FL could verify that.it is off by default. Shouldn't be IMHO.
