Personal Books not downloaded

Hi Folks:
I have a new computer. Everything was installed and synced.
Today I was creating a couple of Collections and realized a few of my personal books would not show up in the results.
I guess (and maybe its always been this way?) that Personal Books don't automatically sync and download?
Is there a way to force Logos 8 to download all of them without my having to click "Open" and then "Download now". I have several hundred....
Thanks, Matthew

Yes, that is the case, since they are local to the machine you built them on - unless you upload them. PBs uploaded after creation will automatically download to other desktop machines you run Logos on.

The solution would be to open the several hundred on the old machine and click upload on any of them (afaik there s no bulk upload feature). You can avoid that by making the compiled PBs (i.e. the xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.lbspbb files ) available to the new machine - easiest by identifying them in the ....\AppData\Local\Logos\Data\XYZABCDEFG\ResourceManager\Resources path of your Logos installation, putting them all on a USB stick / thumbdrive, then attaching it to the new machine and using the command scan X:\ (with X:\ being the drive name, such as F:\, G:\ ...)

Hi NB.Mick:
Thanks for responding. The books have all been uploaded when I created them. The problem is that for whatever reason.... some (maybe half?) are not automatically downloading.
I had thought that once a book was created and uploaded, that it would automatically download to a new install/computer. There doesn't seem to be a 'pattern' for those that don't download: some were created a between a couple of years ago up to a month or so ago.
I guess I'll go through them one by one and download them, I just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing a setting or something.

If you still have the old computer look for the directory ...\AppData\Local\Logos\Data\XYZABCDEFG\ResourceManager\Resources on it
There will be many files in the format xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.lbspbb. Those are your PBB files.
Copy them to a flash drive on the old machine. Insert that flash drive into the new machine. Then in Logos command box type "scan X:" Where X is, as NB.Mick said, the drive name, such as F:\, G:\ ...
Also ensure that you copy all of the DOCX files that were used to create the PBB files to the new computer so that you can update any of the PBBs if need be.

You say that "Everything was installed", but it appears that isn't the case. From your description they are cloud resources. Filter your Library by Devices > Not on this device to see what resources were not downloaded. Select the resources that you want, then right-click and select Download.
If the PB's were uploaded, they will appear in Library (as you found). But did you select "All resources" or "Recommended" when you were installing? If you chose the latter, you will have cloud resources. If you chose "All", then all your resources should be downloaded to the computer.
