To immediately update to the current beta enter the Update Now command. Otherwise, the app will automatically update the next time it's scheduled to check for updates.

What is that "marketing banner"? I cannot find it, whether I have it set to On or Off in Verbum. Is this because I'm using Verbum rather than Logos?
Do you already own a Logos or Verbum 8 base package? I think the home page marketing banner only shows up if you haven't upgraded yet.

I don't think the banners have been deployed yet. It was included in the release notes because the UI to turn it off and on is in the setting on the Home Page (the little gear icon).

This may not be the place to announce this but please note that the Logos iOS apps now work without crashing as of iOS 13 beta 2 which launched today. I'm hoping Catalina Beta 2 (also launched today) will resolve Logos issues in the Mac OS space. I will update here if it does.
