Reading Progress in Library DITCHED by Logos
Evidently for some reason or another Logos decided to drop this feature in the latest mobile updates.
Seeing they go to the trouble to document the new features and bugs for each release why can’t they also tell us when they decide to ditch a feature.
i assumed a bug had caused the loss so I contacted support only to find out that somebody in their wisdom had decided we no longer need this feature.
If, like me, you found this a useful feature, please say so in this thread so that hopefully somebody from Logos will decide to bring it back.

Hmmm ... I'm a little slow. What got ditched? I have both the latest Logos, and last years Noet. The latest has the little read-circle or read-bar; last year it didn't.
But both have the nutty last-read oddity .. shows in cover view, doesn't show in list view. And both have the reading progress in book view.
EDIT: Ok, on the other thread, you're on android beta.

Anthony, thanks for sharing your feedback. We're really trying to make this new library design great, especially users who do lots of management of their library or those who have large libraries.
How does the progress indicator fit into your workflow? Do you use it for reference books? Books that you read all the way through?

I use the feature mainly to see what books I’ve already read.
I can manage with it on the PC but my fear is that if you’ve dropped the feature on the mobile apps you are just as likely to do the same on the PC. Also I do think that if you decide to drop a feature Logos could at least mention it in the release notes. I’ve been very impressed with the recent upgrades and the number of bugs that have been sorted and I guess you have your reasons for dropping this. However, as all platforms synch together the info is in the main database so I can’t see any point in dropping it, it certainly doesn’t take up any space.
One thing I would point out is that many people use Logos on mobile for reading and it is quite common for e-readers to show reading progress in one form or another.
Thank you for getting back to me.

I want the progress indicator back as well, and it was a definite error to drop it without mentioning it in the release notes. Please bring it back. I use it for all resources that have it. It reminds me of what I have read/consulted at least once in the past and indicates what I haven't. On Mobile it also tells me whether I've consulted lots of brief passages or actually have read whole sections through. All at a glance.
