"Seed Promise" Search
For years I've been aware of the "Seed Promise" (or "Holy Seed", etc.) given to Adam & Eve and extended through Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Israel, David, Jesus,(etc.) (to name but a few.
Trying to come up with a Search to try to find instances of this question.
It seems a good "Topic" … but I keep drawing blanks .
Any recommendations will be appreciated.

The first is the Adamic Covenant, then Abrahamic Covenant (or Promise). In Factbook, the latter leads to other covenants, or you could just enter Covenant and select the suggested theme or topics. Factbook will suggest bible dictionaries and other resources in your Library, together with various searches and guides.

Specifically looking for "Seed" and ("Promise" OR "Holy") (etc.).
The theme makes it's way through the whole Bible and also various Pseudepigrapha, etc.

Bruce Waltke has a great chapter in his An Old Testament Theology tracing the theme of "the chosen seed" all the way through the Old Testament and on to Jesus. It's Chapter 12. The whole book is wonderful and comprehensive, and I highly recommend it. I got to be Waltke's TA for his Old Testament Theology class at Regent College. I edited his extensive notes for the class which ultimately became the book.
