At some point this stopped working. Typing translation to verse doesn't default open it up anymore. Anyone know how to fix this?

John 3:17 (ESV)
For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him.

The order of options in the list can shift based on what types of commands you recently used. The option you want should still be displayed in the list for you to select using the down arrow.

Is there a way to set it to open up a specified translation, verse, book, to default?

I'm not quite sure what you are asking here. I think you are asking if you can make so that you can hit enter after typing "esv to john 3 16" and have it always select a specific option in the menu. If so, the answer is no. You might be better served with a shortcut to the ESV. After the shortcut opens the resource, use Ctrl+G (or Cmd+G on Mac) to put your focus in the navigation box where you can enter the desired verse or pericope.

Okay I do not know which matters precisely. I'm used to typing something like "esv to isaiah 9"

and it automatically opens up the resouce ESV at that book and chapter.

This can still work, you just may need to use the down arrow key some before hitting the enter key.

I know it seems trivial, but I really liked being able to do it rapidly. It used to automatically open the resource but now it brings up a menu. Can I set it to automatically open the resource?

Yes. The point is - as Andrew explained above - that the menu will order the commands as you used them.
If you used the command (open) <any bible> to <any reference> more often than others shown in the menu, like search or .... , then Logos will show this command top-most and selected, i.e. this command will be executed when you hit return. This works even before the menu with all options is displayed, thus executing rapidly.

You just need to make sure that your desired command is shown at the top and selected - in testing this, it never took me more than 3-5 times of typing the command and selecting the desired one, then repeat, to bring any of those to the top.
