Searching Within Highlights

As far as I can tell, there doesn't seem to be a way to search the contents of highlights.  Example:  Highlight the verse Genesis 4:10.  Then open the notes panel, search for the word "blood".  My highlight will not be shown.  However, when I remove all filters I can manually find where I highlighted Genesis 4:10.

Why doesn't Logos allow users to search the content of the highlighted verse?  Am I doing something wrong?

Thanks!

If you want to search within highlights, you do so from the search panel, not the highlights tool.

    To do so:

    • Open the search panel, and choose a Basic or Bible search.
    • Click the All Text (or All Bible Text) dropdown and select the highlighting style or palette you want to search within.
    • Perform your search as normal.
    • Remember to re-select All Text after you've finished.
