Just one of those "I'm curious" questions

I was wondering what, exactly, is a Logos "dataset"? I just noticed an updated list of them and suddenly thought, "what are those, anyway?" I know they're a huge part of everything we do, but can someone just "cash it all out", as it were?

    These are things (data/info) that make the features work. For example: If you like the feature which allows you to determine who is “speaking” in the Bible... you need a dataset to make that feature work. These are not resources like a book... they are “under the hood.”

    Do a search in your library for “dataset documentation“.  Read and enjoy. Very informative.

    Essentially, they are "searches" that have been done in advance and databased for use by users.

    You know all the "tagging" that links resources together, that identifies grammatical and semantic structures, that tags Biblical person-place-thing-event, that identifies who spoke to whom, parables, miracles, theophanies .... all that information in stored in datasets i.e. sets of data or in resources which are stored in datasets as well but are called resources.
