Thinking of picking up a collection of Journals. Could use some advice

Hello, I am looking to add some journals to my collection but could use some advice. My first question is: how useful are journals for sermon prep? My second is: does logos index them in such a way that they will show up in the passage guide when researching a particular pericope? Last question: what collection of journals would you recommend from logos?

Having written a few journal papers myself years ago—I can tell you they are highly critiqued in colleague review (and very nerve racking).

As you said, journals are for the most up to date info.

Much appreciated! But—Wowsie!, are these things expensive! Used to have a JETS membership. Again, journals are the way to go for serious scholarship IMO.
