"IVP deals for $2.99 or less"

Yesterday, received an email titled "IVP deals for $2.99 or less"

In the email are two books The Soul of Shame and Understanding Sexual Abuse, both at $3.99

Clicking on the link to add to cart, one is selling at 40% discount, the other at full retail.

What gives?

    Yes, I saw that email also and when I wanted to purchase the book you mentioned, it was selling for $9.99 for me.  So I did not purchase.
