Here's one example. In the Monthly Sale page, this collection is showing up as available for me to purchase...
But I already own it:

This was the case with several items.
I agree with your expected behavior. It looks like the items will at least be removed from your cart when you go to it.
I see the same thing. I had one greyed-out Add to cart button, but there were other products I owned that were still blue.
I'm waiting for this to be fixed, please. I didn't want to click through products to find something on sale that I didn't own.
As a workaround, temporarily disabling javascript makes the buttons behave as you'd expect.
