Impact of Lexical Resources on the "Bible Word Study" Guide

When using the "Bible Word Study" guide, the results in the "LEMMA" section will obviously be highly dependent on the lexical resources in a person's library.  My expectation is that the results presented in the other sections of the guide are not impacted by the lexical resources one owns.

Am I on track?

    • The lemma section varies according to your lexicons
    • The translation section varies according to your reverse interlinears
    • The lemma in passage section varies according to your commentaries
    • The textual searches section varies according to your morphologically tagged resources
    • All the other sections are dependent on specific datasets

Thanks, Rick, for asking, and Mark, for a great answer!

Thanks to FL for including Carta and a Hebrew audio bible in Logos 9!

Thank you, Mark.  Very much appreciated! [:)]

For the last few days I've been trying to evaluate not only how much value some additional lexical resources might add to my study, but also where/when the additional value would present itself in Logos.  It was my assumption that lexical resources would only affect the LEMMA section of the Bible Word Study guide, but my assumptions have led me astray in the past, so it's nice to have confirmation how the Bible Word Study guide would be affected.

Your feedback on the other sections is frosting on the cake.  Thank you!!!

One minor note/observation about the translations section, is that even though the settings for that section is set to use the default Bible, the default isn't necessarily used.  E.g., my default Bible is the NIV, but if I initiate the Word Study from within the ESV, the translation section is based on the ESV.

That doesn't bother me any--in fact I think I prefer that.  But something to be aware of.
