The Mobile team is pleased to announce the 8.5.0.0161 Beta release of the Faithlife Apps.

If you are already signed up for the beta via Google Play you will automatically receive the beta update over the next few hours.

If you are a new beta user or haven't previously tried one of our beta apps before, we have switched to Google's Open Beta test model so you don't need to sign up - just use the opt-in links shown below.

We also recently upgraded some of our backend hardware, resulting in significantly faster search results for many users.

Ah! I didn't realize it till you mentioned that. I definitely seems a lot faster!

Question:

Any way to add a "book search" to the ellipses menu on each book like the one that was added to the Library panel?

This is something we added on iOS but hasn't made it to Android. I'll take a look to see if we can get that rolled out. It was definitely an oversight on our part. 

Glad to hear you can notice the speed improvements. Results for Guides should return faster as well.
