I just bought two of Greear's book on ebooks.faithlife.com Above all and one other. When I try to open them, I get the message that they are not available on this device. There is a button to download, but when I press it, nothing happens.
Start by making sure you have the right preferences set so that resources download and aren't stuck in the cloud. Then restart your computer.
One resource works fine now.
the other -- Gospel - The 90 Day Devotional by Greear -- doesn't work quite right.
in the table of contents to the book, the links open in a browser, not in the desktop resource.
That is because it is an ebook edition and it came that way from the publisher. Ebooks may or may not have various Logos features incorporated... most likely not other than automated hyperlinks to Scriptures. Did you see if there was a sidebar TOC? There may or may not be depending upon headings used by publisher.
I recently upgraded to a larger library package. I am getting the same message when I try to open some books. There is a button to download the book. However, I am having to do it every time I open a new book. Case in point: NT Manuscript Explorer. Each one requires a download. Is there a way to download all the books in my library at one time without a one-by-one, as needed method? I will go through a workflow and encounter the same thing. I understand when I don't own a book, but if it's new to my library, I would like it moved to my Mac Mini, because sometimes I carry it to places that I don't have an internet connection and wish to work off-line.
THANKS! [:)
Welcome Archie! [:)]

Faithlife implemented a new "cloud resource" feature so that users don't have to download ALL of their books... previously the only option was "all or nothing." There is a setting you need to change to go back to the original behavior. Under preferences, make sure "download new resources" is set to "yes." You will then want to run the command "update now".
If that doesn't work, please create a new thread and we will do our best to assist you.

See the Library wiki.
For the future, check that the Program Setting "Download New Resources" is YES.
