Hi I'm looking for any suggestions on purchasing a CPU for running Logos 8. Anyone using a Chromebook or Lenovo IdeaPad?  Trying to purchase both Logos and a Cpu and not spend a fortune. Thanks

Chromebook would run the web app just fine.  The Android app might not be compatible on a Chromebook

To save, buy a refurbished computer that is "Sold and Shipped by Walmart.com".  When you look for this tag, Wal-Mart stands behind the product, other vendors may use the Wal-Mart site, but Wal-Mart is not responsible for the product. I purchased a laptop that just plain did not work and Wal-Mart was quick to make it right. Similarly, when I purchased a desktop with an I3 processor, not powerful enough for LOGOS. They easily accepted the original unit back so I could upgrade. When purchasing items labeled "Sold and Shipped by Walmart.com" , items can be returned to your local WalMart.

If buying Windows, buy at least an I5 cpu  with 8 gigs of memory and 500 gigs of hard drive space. Others may suggest other specs, but these worked for me.

    Blessings,

Logos 8 is demanding on a system. If you want to purchase a machine (Mac or PC) that will run smoothly for a few years, I would purchase the I7 or I9 processor, 1TB SSD, and 32GB of ram. This will unfortunately be expensive 🙁

An i5/i7 processor with 500GB SSD and 16 GB RAM will be more affordable, as the key component is the SSD.
