Highlighting on iPad

Is there anyway to handle highlighting on the iPad similar to Apple Books?
Currently in Logos:
1. I have to select a word
2. Drag the selection
3. Click on highlight
4. Pick a color
5. Then highlight
In Apple Books:
1. I drag my pencil over the selection and its done.
It's much easier and more conducive to me using the feature. I've actually purchased books outside of Logos because of this feature.

The Logos app highlighting works like Apple Books, mostly. There's no need to drag the selection tool. Just light press on the first word and the drag your finger over the area you wish to highlight. Logos will use the last highlighting style selected. You can change that style after you have highlighted by touching the highlighted section to show the highlighting palette.

Hi Steve - and welcome to the forums
If you have "swipe to highlight" enabled in "View settings" you should get the behaviour you are looking for
Please let us know if that doesn't work (or you can't find those settings)
