I see Libronix for sale on eBay from time to time. May want to check there.

call customer support and tell them what happened. If I recall correctly, they have provided a link in the past for L3 users to download it from.... on the other hand... L3 i no longer supported.... anyway, give them a call and they can point you in the right direction.

As Myke suggests, buy another L3? The Libronix install is easy enough (a single file, though it assumes a desired Internet Explorer functionality). But your books??
You really should just go L8, and call it a day (free), if you (likely) sync'd to the Logos servers in Libronix. Life doesn't get better, as Libby gets older.

I'm not sure you CAN still install L3 any longer. All of the L3-related servers have been shuttered, so you can't sync it, or do anything else with it as far as I know unless you already have it installed. I bought a new drive and mirrored my old HDD with Vista and IE7 (the Explorer version that works best with L3) so that I have a backup. You can back up all of your most current personal usage files (Notes, etc.) and copy them over older files if need be. I'm not sure if you can just port a current installation to a new drive or not. Someone who knows L3's innards better than me would have to answer that. I know you can't port L4-8...those must be freshly installed.

Libby itself doesn't demand the servers. I routinely install with the internet double blocked. The problem is the books. Here, my memory goes fuzzy. If you have a license file backup, then again no internet is needed ... Libby happily has a routine for bringing in the resource files.
My fuzzy memory, is that for a good time period, I don't recall any server demand, from a CD install. Near the 'end', I recall having to call the Logos lady with the CD number (didn't have Libby on any internet).
But goodness, L8 is not too shabby a choice. Grit ones teeth.

Wow, if even Denise can't quite remember how to use Libronix (which she affectionately calls "Libby" and refused to let go of for years), and has faint praise for L8, then it's time to move on. It has been nearly 10 years since Faithlife (then called Logos) released Logos 4, and they stopped supporting L3 some years after that and finally cut off the servers for it a couple of years or more ago. It really is ancient as software goes.

I really hate to admit the Logos lady became necessary due to using dialup vagueries ... we didn't have high-speed back then. Ironically, the same dialup phone (old black one like in the 1940s) becomes invaluable during phone line outages.
Libby is almost ready for high school. She wants to bring her new friend Noet.

How time flies! Logos 4 completely changed everything for me. Logos 8 just fulfills on that promise.

You need version v3.0g* together with a backup of your license file. If you don't have a license file, your resources won't be recognised. Then, do you have the CD's for all your other resources, or a backup of your resources?
Then you can limp along on Windows 10.
.
* you might Google for Libronix 3.0g (3.0.251.2) to get a download...., but you might only get 3.0f (3.0.248.2).

I can testify to this verb. My install of L3 on Win10 acts like it's swimming in molasses (even though my Win10 sys has 10GB more RAM & ssd)...right until it decides to freeze up because I clicked too deeply into a different window within the program (always best to click the window bar at top before clicking within the new window's guts).
This is why I paid $ to mirror my old Vista sys onto a new ssd drive. Aaaaaaahhhh, peace of mind!!!

My description was too graphic! I meant that some features won't work because the available Internet Explorer lacks the support e.g Search (all types), named Workspaces.
