Periodically I use Beyond Compare utility to compare the Logos 4 resources folder on my laptop vs. desktop, to ensure they are the same. In the early 4.0 days they would have different versions of files.
Anyway, I have not done this for about 3-4 weeks. Today I checked (both are 4.0c SR-2), and I Have 61 resources tat were the same binary yet had different files dates on them, and 9 files which were not the same! So I opened one of them, "From this Verse", and on my desktop it is 2005-08-01T20:54:23Z, and on my laptop it is 2010-05-07T18:04:11Z.
Here is the list of files that are different:

Not sure why this has happened, I don't run Logos 3 when Logos 4 is running, and I rename the Logos 3 folder before I start Logos 4, so it can't be from Logos 3 corruption.
In my humble opinion this is a real problem when we can't rely on getting the right resources from the cloud. I wonder how many people don't have the right resources on their computers? I hope Logos can address this issue.
I am going to move the latest files to the other computer and then reindex all. If there is a better way to handle let me know, Update Resources or Update All does not fix this.
