Search unexpected Results using operators

I'm searching in my top Bibles (NIV, AV, NIV84, LEB, ESV) for content/contentment.

When I search for content I get 100 results (or content* I get 109). I observe this includes contentious and its variant which I do not want, so  

content* -contentious -contention

I get 0 results, but I know there are verses with only the word "content". I've tried ANDNOT, but that works no better. What am I missing?

In the Search panel menu, turn off "Match all word forms" and search for content OR contentment

• content, contentment is a convenient way to list alternatives

content* will give you any word that starts with "content", including content.
