Two ESV no longer separate

I noticed yesterday that my ESV target is no longer independent of me other ESV. When I select a visual filter, it enables the display on both ESV resource windows. They used to have a separate display. Now they both are affected simultaneously when checking the box. The only thing I can think of that I may have done was to create a new palette and styles, apply one then delete it. I was trying what was discussed in another thread about the No Palette palette.

Can't recall this. But this is not limited to the ESV. I note that setting the visual filters on either one of two instances of any version produces the result you refer to.

Unless I missed the change in this beta cycle, this has always been the case, the visual filter preferences are set per resource, not per panel... (the suggestion to do it the other way around is long standing).

I bet that is the case. It is probably only the interlinears that display 'per instance'. I am thinking now that I just didn't notice it because I hadn't been in a place with highlighting in the target instance. The separate instances do operate the interlinears independently as expected.
