Chicago. That's no surprise to anyone in the US and probably not outside of it anymore. Beyond sad.
Praying and mourning our country's sad state with regards to gun violence. May Joel recover in full from his injuries and may his family be comforted in this trying time.

I have an update on Joel. He has a bullet lodged in his brain. They are trying to make sure he's stable before attempting to deal with that. Way beyond my understanding but certainly not with God. Keep him, the doctors, and all his family in prayer. I do not know if he knows the Lord either, so that's a big prayer concern too.
