How to do a book study in logos?
Getting ready to do a BS on the book of Joel and wondering how to do a book study in logos?
Tell me how you do it and the best workflow or guide to use?

For a book the size of Joel I would read it through first in a few different translations and note any questions I might want to answer. I would then turn to the Factbook entry for that Book. These are quite comprehensive in the range of articles they pull from your library on the normal topics that would be covered in a background or introduction monograph, the front material in a commentary and the introductory notes in a study bible,
From there it depends on my purpose for studying the book and what I learnt and the questions I had after this initial dive into the book what I would do next.

Do you have David Dorsey's Literary Structure of the Old Testament? I would think one should minimally consider verses from each of these 7 pericopes

Joel 2 (SB:CSOT): CHAPTER TWO
Contents: Day of vengeance upon Israel. Invading hosts and awful scourges. Repentance of the Jewish remnant and Jehovah’s response and deliverance.
Characters: God, Holy Spirit, Joel.
Conclusion: There is a great and terrible day of the Lord coming upon the world, to be ushered in with wonders in heaven and earth, blood and fire and pillars of smoke. Woe to those who are not prepared for that day when it comes unawares upon them. Those who are able to pass through it will be given a change of heart through the universal outpouring of the Holy Spirit, and God will reign gloriously in all the universe, restoring to great favor in the earth the remnant of Israel.
