Tagging in Logos 8 - multiple tags

In Logos 7, one could add multiple tags to a new resource, without any difficulty and without the new resource "disappearing".

Now in Logos 8, when adding a tag to a new resource, the newly tagged resource jumps right away to that tag category, which makes adding another tag a pain, since one has to go first find the tag category, in order to add another tag.

It would be nice if the resource(s) would stay until the tagging is finished.

    Hi Marc

Can you expand on this please? I don't fully understand.

In the screenshot below I have just added a tag to a resources in the library panel and it continues to give me the option to add another.

What are you doing / seeing differently?

Graham, if you sort by tag your untagged books are at the top of the list. If you tag one of those then the resource will move to that tag in the list.

Marc, the solution is to tag books sorted by type or by title or to open the book and display the info panel and tag there.

That makes sense and clarifies things for me.

    Thanks John

Thanks John for the suggestion. It is a helpful "solution", but not a very good one in my opinion.

When sorted by My Tags, as you said, the untagged books are all nice together on top. And one does not have to scroll down to a whole list of book to find the author, title, type...

Your suggestion is fine for one or two books, but rather a pain for several and especially for a whole pack of books. Plus, one has to type fast enough in order to avoid the jumping due to indexing which has caused for some frustration.

Though your suggestion is helpful, I still prefer the way Logos 7 had it.
