Highlighting

Why is highlighting so slow? I select words and then hit the color I wish to highlight in. It then can take up to 3 to 4 minutes before the selected text is highlighted.

I don't see this so we need some more information.
What platform is this on - mobile or desktop / laptop?
And then I would encourage you to repost in the appropriate forum where more people will see it
