64 bit v. 32 bit issues?
I am wondering if there is an issue with 32 bit v. 64 bit Windows.
I have L4 on 3 computers. Two are 64 bit and they have a lot of problems. Right now with beta 3 neither will even open up. They try to load the home screen and crash. I've posted about this and attached log files and haven't heard anything back yet.
But I recently also installed a computer with 32 bit at my church office and haven't had very many issues at all. It seems to run very quickly and it is quite stable.
So I would like to know. If you are running 32 bit or 64 bit and is it stable or quite buggy. This might help in determining if 64 bit is causing some problems or if it is just a coincidence that my 2 64 bit machines are problematic while my 32 bit is fine.
Also, I am running windows 7 RTM on all three.

I'm using Vista-64, and Win7RC-64 and have found L4 to be quite stable on them.

I don't use RAR, so I can't open your logs, but I can assure you that there are no known issues with 64-bit Windows. (All the developers are using Vista x64, so we would find any major compatibility problems quite quickly.)

OK, thanks Bradley. I will re-post them using zip. This was just a thought.

I am using Vista 64 ultimate, 8 gb memory, dual core 2.4 gz and have found the program stable so far, excepting bugs of course.

I think this is a dead issue. No need for further posting. I suggested this, but it was clearly debunked as an issue.

[:)] don't worry about it Kevin, in all inquiry's a negative result is as much a result as a positive.
