I understand that you never lose a book when you upgrade Logos. What you purchased stays with you across upgrades, even if Logos loses the license to sell a book that you previously purchased.
I also (think that I) understand that the contents of base packages changes from version to version so that an owner of, say, Logos 8 Silver might potentially have to pay an additional fee (for the additional content) to acquire Logos 9 Silver. (Just an hypothetic example, I have no crystal ball...) Nevertheless, the books that were acquired in a previous "Silver" purchase remains with the owner, even if he/she only upgrades to the base engine of a newer Logos version.
But what about datasets? If I have purchased Logos 8 "Bronze" and then only upgrade to the "Starter" package in Logos 9, do I lose all of the "Bronze" level data sets that I had in Logos 8? Or do I still have the benefit of them from the previous purchase?
(Okay, I know that Logos 9 is not out yet, but how did this work with the upgrade from Logos 7 to Logos 8?)
Thanks for the input.
