I'm stuck. I'm attempting to install Tyndale House unicode to my Mac. I can't find the fonts and keyboard layouts folder. Please help.
I can't find the fonts and keyboard layouts folder.
"Fonts" and "Keyboard Layouts" are two separate folders. Both are found at ~/Library (Macintosh HD ▸ Library). Note: This is NOT the User library. The system library folder is hidden by default. See this link (dated but still applicable) for multiple ways to view ~Library.
Edit: I personally use a BTT shortcut to toggle visibility of hidden folders. If you have a Mac and don't use Better Touch Tool, change that! ;-)
The Macintosh HD/System/Library folder should be visible and not hidden. (The user/library folder is hidden.) The Fonts and Keyboard layout folders likewise are not hidden and can be found at the location indicated by Reuben.
An application such as "Pathfinder" will show hidden files as an option and also gives you a dual panel Finder like layout.
In Christ,
Charles
Thank you, Reuben and Charles. I'll work on this when I get home from work. Thanks!
The instructions call for dragging the keyboard layouts files both Greek and Hebrew into the Library keyboard layouts folder. Greek is clear and unmistakable, however, Hebrew is unclear as the file is named something other than that which was indicated in the instructions. Should I double click this file as it is named HebrewTHRTL.bundle or should I simply drag this file into the respective folder?
