L4 requirements

Below are the recommended specs for L4:

Core 2 Duo 2 GHz

3GB+ RAM

Windows Vista or Windows 7

DVD drive

1280X1024 display

512MB DirectX10 graphics device with WDDM 1.0 or higher driver

20 GB hard drive space on local drive (May require additional
space depending on your library).

Broadband internet connection

When it says "512MB DirectX10 graphics device" is that saying they recommend 512 Dedicated memory or is shared memory included?

Dedicated memory (on the video card).

This turns out to be my biggest disappointment with L4. I always had more than enough resources to handle L3. No other modern piece of software that I use demands so much of my hardware. Because of this I am forced to still use L3 for the majority of my work as L4 bogs down regularly and even freezes up if I move too quickly.

Pay attention to these recommended specs. You won't like the experience of L4 without them.

FYI: My laptop meets those specs EXCEPT I only have 256MB on the video card (and I have WinXP). It hasn't been an issue.
