I was thinking about all the possible ways a portion of text can become highlighted or marked up ...
- Sometime by a Visual Filter rule and markup style
- Maybe a search result
- By "Links to Open Panels"
- By "Sympathetic Highlighting"
- Its linked to an entry(Note) in a Notes File
In the case of a Note in a Notes File, we can hover over the marker in the resource, and we get a Tool Tip giving the name of the Notes File, and a portion of the Note entry.
It would be great if we could also get a Tool Tip giving the "reason" for each of the other kinds too. E.G. The name of the given Visual Filter, and the specific rule within it that matched, etc.
In the example below, its "impossible" to remember what rule, in what filter has that markup style. In this example, its marking a style around "pleased" based on a lemma match for a greek word in the RI
