Notes and Highlighting

I have tried to discover a way in Logos4 to make my note marker/indicator (the box that appears in the text indicating the presence of a note) transparent. I coud do this in Libronix, but "transparent" is not an option in the drop down palette accessed by clicking on the corresponding box in the note file. ALSO, is there a way to omit highlighting the actual text to which the note is attached? For example, I attached a note to the word "weighs" in the NIV text of Prov 15.28. The word "weighs" is automatically highlighted. At times, this is useful; at other times, it is cumbersome.

Unfortunately, transparent is not a notes option. You can attach a note to a scripture reference and there won't be any highlighting, but this will only show up in Bibles and Commentaries.
You can turn the display of highlighting on and off in the visual filters (tri-circle) menu by checking or unchecking next to the name of the appropriate note file.

Thanks, Kevin. In a time of so many options, capabilities, we (I) want even more. This was a feature of Libronix which I enjoyed; perhaps it will be restored in an upcoming update of Logos 4.

You can turn off the highlighting by using visual filers like Kevin said, but I think there is something else you might need to know. When you highlight a word to add a note and you choose "selection" in the right drop down box, it will highlight the entire word/phrase and then add a note - this will only appear in the bible you're in. If you select "reference", L4 will add a note without highlighting the whole word/verse and add a small highlight box to ALL of your bibles. This helps if you don't want highlighting, want it in all of your bibles and are ok with little yellow boxes.
I sometimes add a note (choosing refernce) to the beginning of a chapter and add all my notes for the whole chapter in it. That way there is only one highlight box indicating a note for the whole chapter. This cuts down on all those annoying little yellow boxes!
I hope it helps.

Thanks, Anthony. I am aware of these methods/applications. At this point, it appears that I will have to wait for Logos to restore the "transparent" function to the highlighting options.
