SUGGESTION: Academic need for Community Milestones

Denzinger, Henry, and Karl Rahner, eds. The Sources of Catholic Dogma. Translated by Roy J. Deferrari. St. Louis, MO: B. Herder Book Co., 1954.
The above is a book of extracts - church documents, patristics, etc. Unfortunately, the extracts (original texts) contain neither references or milestones to take them back to the original source. This results in more limited functionality than in Jurgens for example. There is no direct route to the Milestone/Reference for searches nor link to full context.
I understand why FL has not done this coding - it requires manual research to find the precise reference. But the increase in functionally is so great that it would be valuable enough to scholars and academic institutions that they would be willing to tag the sections of use to their research or classes. Eventually, it would be completely indexed.
I suggest that a function similar to that of Community Tags be employed to do this coding with the ability to correct an erroneous entry and some form of authorization. Alternatively, set up a procedure where a user can enter the data on a form and FL does the actual tagging.
