Overly ambitious highlighting sensitivity. (8.8 Beta 1 WIN 8.8.0.0007)

I had the ESV Bible open to 1 John 2:27 (See image below).  I highlighted verses 28 & 29.  When my highlight pointer went past the period at the end of verse 28, all the verses below these two verses were also highlighted.

Sometimes when I click on a word, the word and sometimes other words after it will become highlighted.

Often, if I click in the white space after a paragraph, the paragraph(s) below that point are highlighted.  

(I think the last two above happen at the slightest movement of my mouse when I click - a bit too sensitive.)

Sometimes when I move the highlighting pointer slowly through a text, the whole article below my highlight will be highlighted as I move over a space between words or after a paragraph.  When I continue to move the pointer over the next word, it un-highlights the lower part of the article.

These and other weird behavior happens with Bibles and non-bible resources.

None of these symptoms happened before this new version.
