Is it possible to find the basal stem of a verb?
Greetings everyone,
I am trying to figure out if there is a way to find a (basal) stem of a verb, not a root, lemma or inflection. E.g., when determining the stem of the verb ἐλπιζω, initially one would think it is ἐλπιζ-, but in fact it is ελπιδ-. So, does Logos offer a way to find the (basal) stem of a verb. P.S. I know most will not be irregular as the example I have provided, but I'm really interested if Logos offers this feature.
Best and Thanks,
Chris

Logos does not do this directly. My first idea was to consult a Theological Wordbook/Dictionary (or Analytical lexicon), perhaps one of the more advanced NT Greek lexicons. But I found an article on stems in The Elements of New Testament Greek (Nunn) - it includes your example, and the link will open the book in Logos (if you have it).
