Sure would love to see ADD NOTE as REFERENCE instead of a SELECTION (or as default) from highlighted text and translation. I realize I can do this via right click as previously allowed before the "Selection Menu" option.

I made this suggestion too, but I understand (sort of) why they don't do it. Usually if you are taking a note on only the selection (assuming you aren't selecting the whole verse) it makes sense that only the selection is anchored.
If you are selecting the whole verse, why did you highlight it to begin with instead of just right clicking in the verse? That was the explanation that was given to me (though it was more eloquent lol).
