Speaker Icons Offset in HCSB

I'm reading the Holman Christian Standard Bible, and it seems that the speaker and addressee labels have gotten offset (usually about three characters to the right, but it varies widely). It only seems to affect HCSB, the CSB is fine.

I'm not sure how long this has been an issue, but I'm on Logos Bible Software 8.8 Beta 2 (8.8.0.0012)

What version id do you have for the HCSB?

Check on the Information pane and scroll down to the bottom to find this information.

It’s also worth reindexing the resource - use the command “reindex hcsb” in the command box

Hi Matthew,

I would second Graham's suggestion about reindexing. I'm not able to reproduce this bug on my end and I have the most recent version of the resources. If reindexing does not fix the problem, please grab logs from the session you reindexed and also get the resource info under the Support Info section of the Resource Info panel. You access that by opening the resource and hitting CTRL+SHIFT+I.

The Speaker Icons display is unrelated to indexing, so please don't reindex your resources.

The most likely cause is that you have an out-of-date HCSB reverse interlinear. You should have version 2019-08-15T15:19:58Z but you probably have version 2018-04-27T15:31:14Z. (This is displayed in "Information" in the resource panel.) We had a server problem that was causing the latest resource files to not be delivered to some users.

To fix this, enter "update resources" in the command box at the top of the application.
