Need help on tagging search results

How would one add a tag to all the resources in a search result? I'm interested in anything that would help e.g. getting the search result resources into a collection ...

    A trick I learned from John Fallahee was to open all of your search results. Go into your docs and open a bibliography document. Under the "add" button select "all open resources". Go to the panel menu and select "Save as Collection".
