When I search on a specific phrase "Basic English Bible", why does a subset of the phrase appear in the results - "Basic Bible"? It appears that the phrase search is not a phrase search.
or even worse
M.J.,
I'm not able to replicate the first example searching for "Basic English Bible". But It looks like the name "New Testament in Basic English" is imbeded in the examples you highlight in the second one. If you open them up and click on the hit it displays as a pop-up. I think its a book bug. I'm bringing it to the Content Teams attention.
In WBC 23B, the word Basic is hyperlinked to a footnote "The New Testament in Basic English". This ends with the words "Basic English", which is then immediately followed (in the main text) by "Bible". This leads to the false positive result for "Basic English Bible".
The good news is that this only happens with the old search engine. If you run "set use new search engine to yes", you won't have this bug and you'll get faster searches.
Thanks Bradley. Problem fixed
