latest update over Beta

Couple questions. One being, if one installs the latest Beta, will the next regular update overwrite this Beta that is installed onto Logos, thus ridding of any possible bugs found in the Beta version.

Also, though I read the fixes I still am wondering if any has found a fix for the links not working in Lexicons and Dictionaries within a Layout.

A beta can only be updated by a later version e.g.

• 8.8 Beta 3 can be updated to 8.8 Beta 4 or a later version of 8.8 (whether or not it carries the "beta" name)
• a new beta will only fix bugs listed in the Release Notes
• a new beta may have additional/new bugs
• An update of 8.7 cannot update your 8.8 version.
• You can restrict updates to the Beta channel (Set update channel to Beta command)
• when the 8.8 Beta finishes you will only receive updates from the next 8.9.Beta
• you won't get service releases (SR) of 8.8 until you Set update channel to Default
