Notes Tool- in Compact view - by notebook - where is SPLIT view?

hi

does anyone know how to get the SPLIT VIEW in the Notes tool, when displaying in Compact view, by Notebook? It seems like there are only viewss of

Default or

Compact or

full preivew

but not the Split view- which is important if you have created a specific notebook with notes arranged in your own chosen order

or am I missing something ...

I believe the Compact view is thought to be "comparable" with the old Split view.

From the Notes FAQ (shipped features section):

• Compact (i.e., one line) view (comparable to Split view in old notes)

https://community.logos.com/forums/p/53547/390544.aspx#390544 shows what the old Split view looked like (at least in that release of the software) which does look similar to the current Compact view.

What, specifically, are you finding is missing?

thanks indeed for your reply. it  turns out to have been my mistake, the NOTES tool by Notebook in Compact view seems to be working magnifcently well as a replacement for the Logos 7 Notes... a great relief for me.....so the post was mine by mistake

PS I Only came across the New Notes tool again accidentally last night....however I'd simply not acessed the body-text of a note by not clicking on it... must have clicked everywhere else and explored by checking here and there.. my mistake thanks again)
