Hey there,

I'm wondering if there's a very quick way (1-2 clicks) to look up the frequency of a word in the NT (or OT for that matter)? If there is some obvious way, I must be missing it.

Thanks!

Madison they way I would do it is right click on the word, select the lemma from the list of options that appears on the left hand side of the selection menu, then select bible word study from the right hand side of the selection menu.

The bible word study menu will open. In the first section, Lemma, on the right hand side in red circled area you can see a number and a small frequency graph.  The number represents the frequency of the word, 55 occurrences in the NT for this example, and the graph show the number of occurrences in each book of the NT.  (Note click on the image below to make it larger so you can see it better)

The number for each book can be seen if you hover over the graph with you mouse and move is slowly along the graph. For example it occurs 8 time in John. Clicking on the graph will open up a larger version of the graph.

If you perform this step often, you can set up a layout with a bible (a reverse interlinear) and a bible word study guide linked together. Once click and it will populate the BWS with that lemma. You can add your favorite lexicon and link it as well if you want. Here is a screenshot:
