Linking Resources

I’ve only just discovered layouts and resource linking and I’m loving the idea of it.  It would be very nice if the team at Logos made it possible to apply linking to tabs consisting of tools, such as text comparison or passage guide.  That way when I change to a different verse/passage on any one resource, I’d get the benefit of those tools at the same time so long as they were active on my current layout.  Maybe this is already possible, and I’m just missing something.  Any insight would be very much appreciated.
