CRASH:Courses Tool

Logos 8.8 Beta 4 Mac OS 10.14.6

Opened a layout which contained the Courses Tool in a floating window. Noted that the Courses Tool remained blank after a few minutes. Clicked to open the sidebar. Logos went bye-bye.

Reopened Logos and opened the same layout, and the courses tool opened properly.

I'm not able to reproduce this so I need a bit more information. Are you launching the application to that layout, or is the application already running? Is the Courses Tool on the same monitor or a different one?

No course was open as these all occurred when first opening a layout. When the layout was opened in the first post, I believe For the Love of God, Volume 2 was the last course used in that layout. For the two freezes this morning, the last used course would have been TH292—Current Issues in Dispensationalism.

The Course tool opening with a blank screen occurs occasionally. In those cases, clicking to open the contents menu will usually cause the tool to populate—sometimes it just crashes. This morning—after two crashes—I closed and reopened the Courses tool, and it populated normally.

This is one of those lovely intermittent bugs.
